Settling In

Almost a month old, Olivier is now officially a British citizen, and we’re finally settling into our new home! After weeks of much-needed help from the grandparents, the mountain of boxes is slowly shrinking.

Olivier is still eating and sleeping well (in baby terms, of course—meaning we’re still up every three hours at night). Meanwhile, we’re operating on minimal sleep and plenty of caffeine.

The photo backlog is growing fast, but here are a few highlights from the past four weeks—enjoy! 📦👶📸

Canon EOS 5D MkII – EF 50mm– f/2.5, ISO 3200 – A baby wrapped into a towel picture is a classic – facing the window, in a white towel. Olivier did not like his first bath, so here just after he looks more relaxed.

Canon EOS 5D MkII – EF 50mm– f/2.8, ISO 2000 – Chiara is absolutely adorable with her little brother (who she now call “my little brother”. Here she is doing the Barthez kiss – a sign ? Also note if you are interested out new kitchen in the background.

Canon EOS 5D MkII – EF 50mm– f/2.2, ISO 1000 – In this room, bonding with Sab. He has got the best decorated room of the house … but not sleeping in it yet, so it’s probably the largest changing room in the neighbourhood at this stage.

  1. Well, they don’t come with any other hair colour than black in the gea’s family. Olivier will not be an exception.

  2. Well, look at it this way – if he had blond and curly hairs, getting a paternity test would have surely crossed my mind 😉

  3. Attention , les jolis petits bébés grandissent très vite

Alors tant pis pour un peu de fatigue , il faut

    profiter.

    Les conseils d’ un vieux grand-père .

Bisous au futur lord et a vous tous.
